We're looking for a Backend Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that keeps the agent running reliably across every workflow, every integration, and every action in the Ledger.

What you'll own
Design and maintain the core infrastructure that powers the agent's autonomous workflows.
Build reliable, scalable APIs that connect the platform to third-party tools and services.
Work closely with the product and AI teams to ship features that run in production, not just in demos.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues before they reach the Ledger as errors.
Write clean, well-documented code that the team can build on without asking you what it does.
What you bring
5+ years of backend engineering experience in a production environment.
Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
Strong experience with REST APIs, message queues, and distributed systems.
Comfortable working across cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Track record of shipping and maintaining systems at scale.
What puts you ahead
Experience building integrations with CRM, helpdesk, or finance tools.
Familiarity with workflow automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines.
